Bark Shredder

Bark shredder is used for shredding of the bark from the process of logs debarking. The vertical design of the bark shredder is suitable for use of this machine in debarking lines for direct processing of the bark. The bark shredder can be installed in the line or separately. The final chip (bark chip) is used for mulching or for burning.

The input material is chipped by the rotating blades against the stable counterblade. The material falls below a rotor and passes through a sorting screen. Further transportation of the chips is solved individually according to requirements of customers. It can be transported by differentconveyor systems or by suction system.

The machine can operate without need of operators presence. Dustiness depends on the type and humidity of the processed material. The shredder must be installed at least under the roof in order to be prevented from direct influences of weather.
