EPDM sponge gaskets provide a flexible watertight seal, as well as providing excellent weatherproofing, due to its resistance to ageing, UV, ozone and oxidation. Ramsay Rubber are a leading UK manufacturer of EPDM sponge gaskets, supplying sealing solutions worldwide.
With full conversion capabilities, from material slitting, adhesive laminating, die cutting, CNC machining, fabrication and assembly. We can offer a variety of customer specific EPDM sponge gaskets, in a wide range of shapes, sizes, thicknesses and densities. All our EPDM sponge gaskets are manufactured at our site in Bilston, based in the West Midlands, with over 40 million gaskets manufactured every year.
EPDM Sponge Gasket Capabilities
Due to our material slitting capabilities, we can offer our customers a range of EPDM sponge gasket thicknesses. We also stock a wide range of acrylic and synthetic rubber tapes, which enables us to manufacture self-adhesive EPDM sponge gasket products, custom-made for bespoke applications. Manufacturing single or double-sided adhesive gaskets, with finger lift or a tabbed liner if required, to ensure ease of assembly.

Ramsay Rubber can also offer EPDM sponge gaskets individually, with perforations and creases to allow for folding, to create a 3-D product. Alternatively, we have the capability to manufacture gaskets kiss-cut on a roll, for ease of assembly. This ensures maximum utilisation of material and effective waste removal; we also provide EPDM sponge gasket assembly if required.
EPDM Sponge Gasket Material
EPDM sponge materials are closed cell and provide a range of solutions, in relation to abrasion resistance, ageing, UV, ozone and oxidation. It is also a marginally more cost-effective material compared to other closed cell sponges. EPDM sponge gaskets also provide excellent thermal conductivity and anti-rattle solutions.
