The Quest QP100 is family of pick and place solutions for direct food handling. They are versatile picking systems that can load, orientate, stack and group products into a wide variety of primary packaging machines such as thermoformers, flow wrappers, and vacuum sealers. The QP100 robotic picking system can designed to grip hard-to-handle products, such as bakery, cheese, meats and poultry in virtually any shape. The QP100 series solutions can also be designed to load lined totes or cartons in varying pack patterns.
Utilizing FANUC robotics' DR-3iB/6 stainless food-grade delta robot and Soft Robotics Inc. mGrip end of arm tool this solution is capable of direct food contact with U.S. Department of Agriculture and USDA Dairy compliant and washdown designs. Soft Robotics mGripAI, artificial intelligence vision allows Quest to program the robot and end of arm tooling to handle products on an infeed that are both random and/or piled.
For slower speed, smaller footprint solutions, Quest utilizes the FANUC LR-Mate articulating arm. This solution, partnered with the mGrip tool allows for the same load, orientate and stacking on lines that do not require a high speed pick.
