B16 Alloy Steel
Grade B16 alloy steel is a bolting specification for high temperature service. It is a heat-treated Chromium-Molybdenum-Vanadium steel. Grade B16 is suitable for applications up to 840°F (450° C). B16 alloy steel is commonly used in power generation turbines in high strength fastener applications such as bolt material.
