Combined heat and power plant with absorption chiller

Using a so-called combined heat, power and cooling (KWKK) increases the efficiency of a combined heat and power plant (CHP) enormously.The thermal energy generated by the CHP is converted into cold with an absorption chiller and used for process cooling. This guarantees that the heat generated by the CHP always has a source of consumption, even in the warm summer months, and that continuous electrical output is generated with the help of the CHP.
