PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
STEGO filter fans are used to provide an optimal climate in enclosures and cabinets with electrical/electronic components.
The temperature in a cabinet can be cooled by properly bringing in air from the outside and thus expelling heated internal air.
Proper airflow prevents the formation of local hot pockets in the enclosure and facilities and protects electronic components from overheating.
The Filter Fan Plus series , as this new series is called, uses a new air flap technology (cold race protection) for air discharge and thus achieves a high degree of air flow. The filter fan can be quickly mounted thanks to a new type of locking mechanism. This locking mechanism also provides high stability and tightness.
Depending on the area of ​​use, there are two systems in the Filter Fan Plus series - the FPI or FPO system.
The FPI system is a standard installation with a filter fan in the lower part of the cabinet that ensures fresh air is fed into the enclosure (airflow direction "In"). This system consists of a filter fan and an exhaust hood.
In the FPO system , the filter fan is located in the upper part of the cabinet. The air is evacuated through the fan to avoid heat generation (air flow direction "Out"). The air is then taken in through an intake hood with filter in the lower part of the cabinet.
