Electric Barrel Pump

Electric Barrel Pumps are used to empty containers, carboys, IBCs, and tanks. Numatic Pumps has been a Electric Barrel Pump and Pneumatic Barrel Pump supplier for over 8 years and has a Total Pumping solution for pumping any chemical or viscosity. Our electric drum pumps can handle low and high viscosity fluids, shear sensitive mediums, and solid content and are suitable for fuel, chemicals, fats, resins, paints, or food products. The Electric Barrel Pumps are easy to install, can be easily moved between drums and IBCs, and do not require additional installation space. Our electric Barrel pumps provide solutions for industrial, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food processing applications, with some models capable of emptying 99.98 percent of the fluid and others capable of mixing as well as transferring. We have the right solution for you, whether you need a low-cost mobile or heavy-duty stationary barrel pump to empty containers with minimal effort. Our technical sales can provide product selection advice for your drum pump because they work closely with the market and have extensive product knowledge.

Electric Barrel Pump and Pneumatic Barrel Pump are both extremely high quality and user-friendly. Electric Drum Pumps and Pneumatic Barrel Pumps are useful for the safe and efficient handling of highly corrosive chemicals, solvents, acids, petroleum products, diesel oil and fuel oils, plating solution, toxic chemicals, and so forth. Electric Barrel Pump and Pneumatic Barrel Pump make it easy to remove fluids from barrels and eliminate the risk of spillage and explosion. Both pneumatic and electrical barrel pumps can be inserted directly into the barrel and secured to the bunghole using the threading provided on the pump adopter.

Electric Barrel Pump advantages:

For almost 8 years, Numatic Pumps has been producing Electric Barrel Pumps. Electric Barrel Pumps are flexible pumping systems that can handle any fluid. Our Electric Drum Pumps can handle low and high viscosity fluids, shear sensitive media, and those with solid content, and are suitable for gasoline, chemicals, fats, resins, paints, or food items. The barrel pump design has the advantage of being simple to install, transfer between drums and IBCs, and does not require additional installation space. Our Electric Drum Pumps offer solutions for industrial, cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food processing industries, with some models able to empty 99.98 percent of the fluid and others being used to mix as well as transfer. We offer the appropriate solution for you, whether you require a cost-effective mobile or heavy-duty, fixed barrel pump for emptying containers with minimal effort. Our technical sales can give product selection guidance for your drum pump since they work closely with the market and have significant product expertise.

How does a Electric Barrel Pump work?

Barrels (usually 100 or 200 liters) are widely used in manufacturing and processing industries to store and transport chemicals and acids. These are far too hefty to securely tip up to dispense or empty liquids. Fluids may be securely and effectively transported from containers using electric barrel pumps.
A motor, an immersion tube, and a pump component make up an electric barrel pump. On the outside of the container, the motor is mounted on top of the immersion tube. The immersion tube, which is as long as the container’s depth, fits through and is frequently sealed to a top-of-the-container aperture. To accommodate variable container depths, multiple tube lengths and material constructions are available, depending on the media to be pumped. At the bottom of the immersion, the tube is the Electric Barrel Pumps portion. The Electric Barrel Pump is powered by an extended shaft shielded by a sealed column that extends from the top of the immersion tube. The pumped liquid flows between the sleeve and the tube to the immersion tube’s discharge port at the motor end.

Extended centrifugal pumps with impellers or screw rotors are commonly used in electric barrel pumps for low or medium viscosity fluids. The liquid is discharged up the tube and out of a port at the top of the immersion tube as the impeller or screw rotates.

Positive displacement pumps are better for medium and viscous fluids. PTFE screw-type lifting compressors are commonly used for medium viscosity fluids (up to 2000cP). Inks, paints, solvents, and food items are among the most common uses. A progressive cavity design is better for greater viscosities (up to 100,000cP). Oils, resins, solvents, waxes, adhesives, gear lube, glycerine, silicone, lotions, polymers, honey, juice concentrate, hair and bath gel, corn syrup, and other materials are commonly transferred. There are FDA-approved materials accessible.
