Double row angular contact bearing
The double row angular contact bearing is two single-row bearings arranged back-to-back. They take less axial space and accommodate radial loads as well as axial loads in both directions. The axial load carrying capacity is dependent on the contact angle. The larger the angle the higher the axial load to which the bearing can withstand. Double row bearings are angular contact designed to meet the demand of increased axial and radial load where the application limits the operating space. These bearings are useful in agricultural machinery and pumps and used in applications including packaging equipment, conveying equipment, compressors, and elevators. The following are some key considerations and benefits of double row contact bearings:
SPECIFICATIONS
The 5200 and 5300 series double row bearings have the same inside and outside diameters of the standard 6200 and 6300 series, but these bearings incorporate two rows of balls. Being slightly wider than the 6200 and 6300 series, double row bearings are capable of loads where the single row bearing is inadequate. Double row bearings, like the 6200 and 6300 are available as open, shielded, sealed, and with locating rings on the outside diameters when required.
As a major ball bearing distributor, MMB Bearings offers a wide variety of ball bearings to suit virtually any application.
