Massive investments have been made in AG Charmilles and Astec EDM Machinery with Merc offering not only EDM Wire & Spark Erosion, but also EDM Fast-Hole Drilling. EDM gives us the leading edge for the manufacture of miniature and micro-miniature components with tight tolerances of – +/- 0.002mm.

Typical EDM products at Merc include tightly toleranced fuel injection and missile component parts.
