RD 122 V direct output pressure regulator

Description The

RD 122 V direct output pressure regulator is an armature designed to reduce the pressure of the medium and maintain it at the set value. This ensures that the diaphragm is exposed to the effects of the outlet pressure in the duct and, on the other hand, is controlled by the spring. The deflection of the diaphragm is transferred to the plug and, when the outlet pressure is increased, the valve closes. Due to the pressure-balanced cone, the output pressure is not affected by the pressure ratios in the valve.

In cases where the required output pressure is in the area where the springs are overlapping, it is preferable to select a lower range spring for greater sensitivity of the controller.

Application The

valves are designed for operation in conventional hot-water and hot-water heating circuits in the heating industry as well as in installations with some typical media properties such as refrigeration and air conditioning. The maximum differential pressure on the valve must not exceed 1.6 MPa.

Working media

The RD 122 valves are suitable for use in devices where the controlled medium is water, air or low pressure steam up to 1.0 MPa. They are also suitable for cooling mixtures and other non-aggressive liquid and gaseous media in the temperature range +2 o C to +150 o C or in spec. design with cooling condensing wells up to 180 ° C. Sealing surfaces of the throttle system are resistant to common sludge and impurities of the medium, but in case of abrasive admixtures, it is necessary to place a filter in front of the valve to ensure long-lasting reliability and leakage.
