MULTICAL® 62
A modular and flexible water meter
MULTICAL® 62 is an ultrasonic water meter used for measuring cold water consumption up to 50°C and hot water consumption up to 90°C. The meter can be used in trade, industry and housing. MULTICAL® 62 is a static water meter and it does not include any moving parts. Therefore, the meter maintains its pinpoint accuracy throughout its entire lifetime. Being a static water meter prolongs the sensor’s lifetime considerably as it is immune to particles and not subject to wear and tear. MULTICAL® 62 has 13 years battery lifetime. Together with the meter’s unique combination of pinpoint measuring accuracy and longevity, this secures minimal yearly operating costs.
Calculator
All measurements, references, readings and calculations are controlled by an advanced microprocessor in the calculator. The accumulated water consumption is displayed by 7 large digits. The display is designed for a long lifetime with sharp contrast in a wide temperature range.
MULTICAL® 62 includes data communication ports. The optical eye on the calculator front enables reading of consumption data and info codes, stored in the meter’s data logger. Using a serial PC connection, the optical eye also enables the meter to be re-configured.
The water meter registers leakages and unintended water consumption caused by issues like running cisterns and leaky heating spirals in tap water tanks. This lets you alert the end-user of problems at an early stage and lets them act proactively in order to avoid excessive water consumption, which could result in costly water bills. Other reading options are: operating hour counter, current flow, maximum and minimum flow, information code, customer number and segment test etc. – depending on configuration.
In case of power failure, data is backed up, thus preventing loss of consumption data.
