GAS STATION

GAS STATION

GENERAL

The complete gas combustion equipment is designed on state of the art computer stations with CAD. Special programs assist the engineers in the design and dimensioning of the gas equipment. Based on HORN's extensive experience, only the most reliable and durable equipment from special suppliers is used. Each station is pre-assembled and tested in order to avoid time consuming and faulty assembly on site.

The following components are supplied by HORN:

  • Gas burner accessories

  • Gas reversing equipment

  • Gas control and measuring equipment

  • Gas safety equipment

  • Gas filter and pressure control equipment

The reversing skids and measurement/control skids can be supplied for individual control of the gas quantity to each burner or as total control of the gas quantity to all burners per burner port.

Safety is of the utmost importance during operation of gas stations. Therefore all the stations are equipped with safety valves according to DIN EN 746 – safety requirements for combustion and fuel handling systems in industrial thermo-processing equipment. The gas pressure (min./max.), combustion air pressure (min.), furnace pressure und chimney suction will be supervised in order to shut off gas supply in case values go out of range.

Furthermore, all the stations are designed with by-pass lines for maintenance work on equipment and easy equipment replacement. The stations are adaptable to local conditions on site in order to provide the operator with the most user-friendly equipment.
