INDUSTRIAL LASER SYSTEM FOR FILM AND FOIL CODING
Laser coding on film and foil substrates are completed flawlessly with the 10.2 µm wavelength laser system from Hitachi. In this primary packaging application, the laser coding is placed on a painted portion of the film or foil packaging. The laser removes the ink and provides a contrasting code against the next layer in the packaging. The lens air flow keeps the lens clear of debris and particulates from the coding, helping to reduce operating costs and maintenance requirements.
