Model E
Rotary heat exchanger in compact casing
Model E is Heatex rotary heat exchanger Model O in a perfectly fit casing. In fact, Model E offers the most compact casing available on the market. It allows for high efficiency and provides a fast return on investment.
Heatex Model E is primarily for comfort ventilation applications. The airflows can be oriented side by side or top/bottom and the complete exchanger can be put in a vertical as well as in a horizontal position.
Model E can be customized to fit customer needs with a wide variety of options available. The wheel is available in any diameter size from 500 mm / 19.7" up to 2 500 mm / 98.4" and there are five optional well heights. For calculations and all options, please go to Heatex Select Online.
Air leakage between wheel and casing is minimized by a brush sealant. For even better wear resistance and tightness, a special sealing solution is available as option. The unit is available with a purge sector to minimize the cross contamination of exhaust air into the fresh air.
Typical airflows for Model E vary from 200 Nm3/h / 125 CFM to approx. 90 000 Nm3/h / 56 000 CFM.
Model E holds several certifications, for example Eurovent, TÜV and ILH Berlin. It also meets the requirements for Ecodesign Lot 6, 2018.
