The Hartzell Propeller Ring Fan can be manufactured, standard or reverse flow, direct or belt driven and they are available in a wide range of sizes. The fan is packaged completely assembled and ready to install. The fan propeller is an airfoil design, cast of 319 aluminum in compliance with ASTM B26. Available in both direct drive orbelt drive. The propellers are affixed to the motor shaft utilizing a split taper brushing or a clamp block arrangement. The propeller is mounted in a high efficiency air seal fan orifice with the smaller diameter of the ring.

Direct Drive Ring Fan, Standard or Reverse Flow

• Air Seal Fan Orifice — Propeller tips overlap the orifice, increasing the performance.
• Motor Support Structure — All welded, computer designed and tested to avoid resonant frequencies.
• Totally Enclosed, Fan Cooled Motors — Name brand industrial duty motors are provided.

Belt Drive Ring Fan, Standard or Reverse Flow

• Air Seal Fan Orifice — Propeller tips overlap the orifice, increasing the performance.
• Long Life V Belts — Oversized for long life and continuous duty. Oil, heat and static resistant type.

Belt Drive, Low Speed, High Volume Ring Fan, Standard or Reverse Flow

• Airfoil Blades — Aluminum alloy castings.
• Hub — Cast aluminum threaded to accept the blades which are locked into position at the desired blade angle setting by tension bolts.
• Split Taper Bushing — Sizes 85” to 144” hub is furnished with a split taper bushing.

Belt or Direct Drive Reversible Ring Fan

• Fully Reversible Welded Construction — This design utilizes two curved orifices welded face-to-face to provide efficient airflow in both directions. The streamlined welded motor mount combines minimum resistance to airflow with exceptional strength.
