COLOUR PANEL TO DISPLAY THE ROUTE NUMBER

An increasing number of operators are opting for signs incorporating a colour panel to display the route number. The colour panel can be fitted to the left or right of the sign and is a useful feature providing visual correspondence with printed route maps thereby further assisting passengers. The destination part of the sign can be optional Amber or White.

The choice of colour is selected within the HELEN programming software. Up to four different colours can be displayed simultaneously to differentiate background from characters (line number). Outline contours can be added to characters to further improve contrast.
