TILTING TABLE

The main feature of Art. TT is to tilt glass from the vertical to the horizontal position, with the aim of helping the operator to unload the sheet after the cutting process. A “balanced tilting” movement rotates the glass sheet while moving it forward by means of special wheels installed on the bedplate. The handling of the glass sheet on the work surface is made possible by the formation of an air cushion generated by an electric fan. This allows facilitates handling operations of glass of all sizes. Once the sheet has been tilted to the horizontal position (pre-scored by the cutting line), the operator can perform a manual cut-off on the same and, with a special radiation control mounted in the front of the tilter, heat the PVB membrane to facilitate splitting.
