KEYWAYS

Vertical and horizontal automatic pull broaching, up to 100 Ton press/push broaching and CNC keyway shaping. Hundreds of stock standard keyway broaches and inserts. Keyways can generally be timed to additional keyways or other features if required.

While some keyways can be generated by live broaching in turning centers (lathes) or machining centers (mills), dedicated keyway shaping/slotting machines are generally faster and more rigid. There is also less risk of damaging delicate turrets and Z-Axis components.
