Cybershield has executed an agreement to acquire substantially all of the assets of Seleco, Inc., based in Indianapolis, IN.  This includes the acquisition of the “Seleco Plating Process” that is used to selectively plate plastic parts.

Cybershield offers several options to prevent electrostatic charge build-up on plastic components. Static charge build-up can lead to potentially harmful discharge that can damage electronic components or lead to other unwanted system damage. Cybershield ESD Prevention conductive coating systems offer surface resistance ranging from <103 ohms per square with graphite paint to <100 m-ohms per square for copper based conductive paint and plating with copper & nickel. Cybershield has extensive experience with ESD prevention systems and can provide designers with design recommendations, engineering prototypes for evaluation and testing and volume production capabilities.
