CTDs pultruded fiberglass structural counterflow design is, without question, the best counterflow tower available on the market today.

Versatile and efficient, CTDs pultruded fiberglass structure is resistant to both chemical and biological attack, which makes it ideal for the inherent harsh operating conditions of the cooling tower environment. Our pultruded FRP structural towers offer an environmentally friendly alternative, which features no chemical leaching from the structured members into the circulating water. The CFF tower design can be outfitted with a variety of fill media from high efficiency, off-set, or low fouling film fills to our proprietary splash grids for the poorest of water qualities.

Our pultruded fiberglass members are classified as self-extinguishing and have a flame spread index of 25 or less as per ASTM E-84-09. In addition, all FRP members are manufactured with a resin rich synthetic veil as well as added UV inhibitors to protect against UV degradation. The connecting hardware and base anchors in our towers can be supplied in 304 or 316 stainless steel or silicon bronze for seawater applications.
