BARREL HOISTS

Challenger barrel hoists are designed to lift or lower barrels and cylindrical objects between floors in public houses, licensed premises, restaurants or wherever there is a need to move items between floors.

Designed for simplicity of operation and minimum maintenance the lift requires only a 240 volt single phase supply and is operated by means of constant pressure push buttons therefore giving full control during any part of the operating cycle.

The drive is provided using a braked motor interlinked to a sprocket assembly with twin chains to ensure equal distribution of the load. The load is supported by two cantilevered steel arms supported by the main frame.

The Challenger barrel hoist is ideal for handling awkward products such as beer kegs, drums and gas cylinders from platform to cellar and can be supplied with an attachment to enable the barrel hoist to handle crates.

Challenger Barrel Hoists comply with current European Machinery Regulations and are supplied with a C E mark and an operation manual.

With the installation of a Challenger barrel hoist the risk of injury to personnel through manual handling is removed thus providing a safe working environment.
