SMS offers customised contact drying technologies to dry solutions, suspensions, slurries, pastes, filter cakes and moist granules. Our technical solutions are based on our longstanding experience from a huge number of industrial applications and tests in our test center.

The main feature in contact drying is the direct heat transfer through the contact of the product with the heating surface. Hence, hot air is not required in contact drying. Therefore, outlet air treatment is minimised and there are no energy losses with air leaving the system.
