Each of our custom automation and engineering services begin with a thorough layout of computer-aided design (CAD) creations that form 2D and 3D models. From there, our trained engineers get to work in order to produce a fully operating CNC machine by completing CAD file conversions and perfectly executing CAD functions by drilling, milling, and turning.
Our engineering staff can meet your needs with some of the most advanced technology in the industry today. Our engineers will execute the most elaborate of concepts and fulfill each individual request in a timely, constructed manner.
Bedford Machine & Tool engineers are experienced in: die cast die design, stamping die design, automated machinery, robotic end of arm tooling, pick and place grippers, trim machines (trim press, trim press design), leak testers, hydraulic and mechanical machining fixtures, CMM fixtures, gages, conveyor systems, as well as work cell layouts.
We also have the skills and equipment to reverse engineer components for either manufacturing or to create a CAD database.
Unigraphics NX and AutoCAD are our primary CAD media. We have the required translators to import and export most software packages.
