• ABB's stainless steel AC brushless servo motors are built for food, liquid, pharmaceutical and other motion-control applications requiring high-hygiene equipment with washdown capability and may be applied in harsh, corrosive environments. Stainless steel AC brushless servo motors achieve IP67 dust and liquid ingress protection and can withstand 1,500 psi washdown conditions.

These stainless steel motors are offered in standard and low-inertia designs for best machine inertial matching. Included in this quality design are a laser-etched nameplate, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved shaft seal, environmental protected stator with premium moisture resistant wire and internal thermal over temperature protection. ABB’s stainless steel AC brushless servo motors are designed for durability and ease of cleaning.
