Industrial Service Solutions greatly improved the traditional top-drive motor design with the following modifications:

• Form wound 5KV stator windings to control the voltage spikes from long-lead cables. Traditional top drive motors have a random wound stator susceptible to spikes and failure.
• Copper-bar rotor construction vs. die-cast aluminum rotor.
• Heavy-duty snap rings to keep the rotor from dropping on brake pads.
• Heavy-duty bearings for mechanical strength.
• Heat sink formed in stator for better heat dissipation.
• Optional flying leads or terminal block configuration.
• Eliminator blower options.
• Heavy-duty end rings for high-current carrying capacity
• 5KV lead cable.
