ARS Linear Drive Assemblies are the Ideal Solution for Indexing and Positioning Linear Motion Applications

Model ARS Linear Drive assemblies are mechanically controlled alternatives to screws and other linear motion devices. Used in various types of production machinery, rolling ring engineering assures zero-backlash, even during reversal. Whereas screw-based systems can jam, the RS Linear Drive runs on a threadless shaft. No clogging or jamming means less downtime for repairs. RS drives also save on maintenance costs – the only maintenance needed is periodic shaft lubrication. Example applications: metrology machines, material handling equipment, test and measurement devices.

ARS drive assemblies are custom engineered for each specific application. Assemblies are furnished ready for machine-mounting including drive unit, shaft, rails and other options as required. Amacoil/Uhing RS drive units are also available separately.
