Vacuum Pumps

Vacuum pumps work by removing the molecules of gas from a sealed volume, resulting in a rough vacuum. Creating anything larger than a partial vacuum can be difficult, as each material that might be exposed to be the vacuum needs to be assessed according to their outgassing and vapour pressure attributes.
