As part of our comprehensive portfolio of metalworking capabilities, at AccuBurn, Inc. we offer shot blasting services to clean, abrade, and finish parts and components. We deliver your parts with a clean “white metal” surface that is free of all oil, grease, dirt, mill scale, corrosion, oxides, paint, or any other foreign matter.
Our large scale pass through shot blast has the capacity to manage mild steel and cast parts with dimensions up to 72” in width by 12″ in height and weighing up to 5 tons. Custom built for AccuBurn, our shot blast machine features a PLC controlled pass through system with variable speed rates and 6 wheels with varying horizontal, vertical, and angular positions that permit blast treatment of objects with complex geometric features. Its entry and exit roller system features 12″ on center spacing to manage 360° treatment of parts with various sizes. In addition to our pass through shot blast, we also have a 32″ by 24″ by 24″ tumble blast machine to handle smaller parts.
If your project also calls for precision straightening, we can accommodate your needs right here in our shop. Our 100 ton press has a 12″ throat opening, manages parts measuring up to 48″ in width by 144″ in length, and features a movable head design to allow for tight straightening tolerances at fast cycle times. For larger workpieces, we also have a 250 ton H-beam style press that provides us with the flexibility to customize tables and fixtures to your specific application. This press features a 24″ max throat opening and also accommodates parts with dimensions up to 48″ in width by 144″ in length.
