Weighted Backing for High Pressure ApplicationsZF weight backings are less flexible than other backings but heavier. Consequently, the weightiness of the backing enhances the abrasive’s durability. We chose a ZF weight backing for this abrasive, so it would be able to withstand high pressure grinding applications. It is especially suited for heavy duty stock removal on stainless steel, cobalt chrome and nickel alloys. It also features a grinding aid, which is an added coating that helps the abrasive run cooler against the workpiece.
