About - Process Safety Conference & Exhibition 2024

We are excited to announce this year's theme, which focuses on the critical topic of process safety—a subject that is essential to address to ensure a safe working environment in the oil and gas industry. Preventing, controlling, or mitigating undesired events or accidents requires a strategic and well-planned approach.

The MENA oil and gas industry is a major contributor to global oil and gas reserves. However, this prominence comes with the responsibility of managing numerous hazardous chemicals at drilling and production sites. The presence of these chemicals increases the risk of uncontrolled or unplanned releases of toxic substances and associated fires.

Given this context, the GCC oil and gas industries must develop and implement effective process safety management programs. These programs are comprehensive systems designed to protect employees, contractors, and visitors at these facilities.

At the 2nd Annual Process Safety Conference & Exhibition—Prosaf Mena 2024, our goal is to identify the root causes of safety incidents and recommend corrective measures to prevent their recurrence. Join us as we lead the way in advancing process safety from mere compliance to excellence.
