Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled Motors - CAplus

CAplus is Nidec ASI’s latest Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled motor (TEFC) developed for heavy-duty industrial applications that need to operate continuously without much energy losses.

The TEFC is a type of industrial electric motor with a nearly impermeable housing that completely prevents ambient air from entering the motor interiors. Cooling is achieved using an external fan that blows ambient air over the frame of the motor to cool it.

The TEFC electric motors manufacturer promises increased protection against harsh weather, dirt, and moisture.

Compliant with API 541 V Edition and SHELL DEP regulations, the industrial electric motor, CA+, is known for its rugged, efficient, reliable and flexible built.

With a robust design, Nidec’s Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled motor CA+ excels where most companies do not - striking a perfect balance between efficiency and power factor.

Depending on the number of poles required the technical specifications of the motor change. CA+ is tailor-made for applications that experience quadratic torque loads, including centrifugal pumps, compressors and fans.

Battery Energy Storage System - GS1500

GS1500 is Nidec’s high-performance solar inverter designed for large photovoltaic power plants. Nidec’s solar inverter converts variable DC output of photovoltaic (PV) solar panel into alternating current (AC) that can be fed into a commercial electrical grid or used by a local, off-grid electrical network.

The battery energy storage system  is based on a flexible modular design – ideal for system integrators and end users - and consists of a modular power converter, a control system, DC and AC side protection, and an integrated DC connection with variable number of inputs.

The basic building block of the Power Conversion System (PCS) is Answer Drives smart inverter with Active Front End. These drives are well known for their reliability and rapid response time.

The Answer Drives Series are vector variable frequency drives with unmatched levels of adaptability. This efficient drive has proven its service in a wide range of applications with the highest levels of efficiency, stability and user control.

Energy-saving solutions for optimal performance can reduce energy demand significantly by automatically adjusting operating conditions to meet system demands in a wide range of applications.

The multi-level inverter offers improved efficiency. GS1500 includes inverter software with the latest grid support and monitoring features such as active power limitation, fault ride through (FRT) with current feed in, and reactive power control.

Photovoltaic Power Plant - ES1000

The photovoltaic power plant is a Power Conversion System (PCS) specifically designed to maximize grid performance, and offers primary, secondary and tertiary frequency regulation.

Power Conversion Systems are used for converting AC current into DC, and vice versa. Typical users of this battery energy storage solution include, solar and wind farm operators, Public Utilities, independent power producers, Smart Micro-Grids, and Transmission System Operators (TSO).

The photovoltaic power plant, ES1000, offers bi-directional power conversion and can be configured for both on-grid and off-grid use. It is also encoded with sophisticated algorithms and open control platform, which the PCS integrates seamlessly with any Battery Management System (BMS) regardless of type or brand. ES1000 is an efficient solution for mid- and large-scale power management operations.

Variable Frequency Drives - AD3000

A variable-frequency drives is a type of adjustable speed-drive used in electro-mechanical drive systems to control AC motor speed and torque by varying motor input frequency and voltage.

Our Variable Frequency Drive is an innovative heavy-industry, low-voltage inverter family that offers consistent performance under extreme loads and working conditions such as dust, humidity and rapid temperature gradients in energy-intensive processes. It rates 450 kW and 500 kW, offering more power per cubic meter than competitors.

The Variable Frequency Drives, AD3000, is a Plug & Play solution optimized for small spaces. The AD3000 offers flexible connectivity for high-power applications, using an inverter control module that is connectable through optical fibers to the inverter power modules.

Variable Speed Drive Retrofit - Silcovert H

Variable Speed Drives and Variable Frequency Drives are the same. They are classified based on applicability.

Our Variable Speed Drive Retrofit Silcovert H Series is a multi-level drive with IGBT power devices, and a more efficient and precise control for induction and synchronous motors.

The Variable Speed Drive Retrofit H Series drives are compatible with the unit’s existing motor systems, regardless of brand or age. With customized retrofits, you can achieve increased levels of safety, reliability and efficiency.

A subdivision of the Variable Speed Drive Large Retrofit is Silcovert TH, an ideal solution for retrofitting and upgrading or replacing the unit’s obsolescent medium voltage drives (regardless of brand).

TH comes with key safety features for personnel and equipment, including robust cabinets. The drive allows front access, allowing easy maintenance and low footprint. Additionally the drive comes in both air cooled and water cooled models, and has a user-friendly HMI for local inspection and control, simple indications in full language, auxiliary circuit management and remote monitoring for diagnostic capability.

H Series is used for powering pumps, compressors and fans, retrofitting on existing motors, and high speed applications.
