Metso to supply key minerals processing technologies for a copper project in Asia Pacific

Metso has secured an order exceeding EUR 30 million to supply process equipment for a copper project in Asia Pacific. The scope covers grinding, flotation, thickening, filtration and material handling technologies, alongside digital optimisation solutions. The package includes SAG and ball mills, flotation cells, thickeners, filters and apron feeders, strengthening Metso’s position in large-scale copper processing projects.

Metso has been selected to supply process equipment for a copper project in Asia Pacific, bringing proven copper processing technologies to a key emerging project. The total value of the order exceeds EUR 30 million, the majority of which has been booked in the Minerals segment’s 2026 second-quarter orders received, with approximately EUR 6 million in the third quarter. 

The scope of delivery includes grinding, flotation, thickening, filtration and material handling solutions, covering key stages of the process plant. The packages include Metso’s Premier™ semi-autogenous grinding (SAG) mill and ball mill, both with mill linings and spares, TankCell® flotation cells, Metso High Rate Thickeners (HRT), Larox® filters, and apron feeders. The delivery also incorporates Metso’s digital solutions, including MillSense, RockSense and FrothSense+™ for advanced process control and optimization.
