Siemens Mobility has announced an investment of up to €230 million to launch its Train Manufacturing Facility as a vital part of its new Goole Rail Village in the United Kingdom.

Features:

Siemens Mobility has announced an additional investment of up to €50 million for a cutting-edge facility in Goole dedicated to assembling and overhauling train bogies.

The new Bogie Assembly and Service Center will enhance Siemens Mobility's existing capabilities to refurbish bogies from UK trains, including the maintenance of its fleet of 3,224 vehicles (572 trains). This facility will also feature new production lines for assembling bogies for new trains, marking a first for Siemens in the UK.

This investment will secure around 100 existing jobs and create up to an additional 200 positions, with operations expected to begin towards the end of 2026.
