Odyssey Technical Solutions US Opens New Repair Facility in Europe

ROUND ROCK, Texas, March 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- The world's largest dedicated RF, DC and Microwave Repair Company, Odyssey Technical Solutions, is celebrating its 20th anniversary with the opening of a new repair facility in Netherlands to serve their growing clientele in Europe.
The new hub which will facilitate faster turnarounds for European customers, is conveniently located in Nijmegen, popularly known as the "RF center of gravity," on the Novio Tech campus next to NXP and Ampleon. It is also housed in what was historically Philips' first volume production facility for solid state germanium diodes and transistors. Odyssey will support all equipment from the major semiconductor toolmakers and OEMs within the RF, DC and microwave space.
The new Europe location is made possible through a partnership with Klaus Werner, Manager and Founder of pinkRF and Chairman of the solid state RF energy section within the International Microwave Power Institute (IMPI). Explaining the motivation for establishing a new facility in the European continent, Company President, Jim Plourde said: "Odyssey U.S. has been doing repairs for European customers for many years, but logistically a location made sense in Europe as the business grew. In addition, many of the European customers have a global footprint, we can now offer a centralized approach to services and support worldwide. We are aligning our service locations with our global customers."
