NanoComposix University offers over 70 articles organized into 10 courses that range from the properties of gold and silver nanoparticles to nanotoxicology – the study of the safety of nanoparticles on human health and the environment. The lateral flow immunoassay course describes how to build ultra-sensitive diagnostic assays by attaching antibodies to the surface of gold nanoshells. Similar to the common home-based pregnancy tests, these lateral flow rapid tests can now be combined with mobile phone based readers to measure a broad range of diseases and physiological conditions.
