Tyler Technologies Acquires Computing System Innovations

Tyler Technologies, Inc. has announced its acquisition of Computing System Innovations, LLC (CSI), a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) automation, redaction, and indexing solutions for courts, legal professionals, and related entities.

This acquisition enhances Tyler's offerings with CSI's AI-driven redaction and indexing capabilities, introducing automated data entry and document processing options for existing and potential clients. Tyler also plans to integrate CSI's AI and automation technology across various other sectors, including Municipal & Schools, Property & Recording, and Platform Solutions.

Brian McGrath, President of Tyler's Courts & Justice Division, expressed enthusiasm for the merger, highlighting the history of collaboration between CSI and Tyler in the court technology space. He emphasized the combined expertise in AI and machine learning-powered process automation and its potential to strengthen electronic filing and Enterprise Justice solutions.

CSI's Intellidact Platform comprises applications that leverage AI technology to enhance document processing and identity protection. This suite includes functionalities such as data redaction, data extraction, document classification, and process automation. Tyler's eFile & Serve solution allows secure electronic filing with the court via a web-based portal. Integrating CSI's platform will streamline and enhance the filing process, reducing redundancy and improving accuracy.

CSI boasts over 80 clients across the United States, including notable entities such as the United States Army, the Supreme Court of Virginia, the State of Iowa, the City of New York, and Tarrant County, Texas. The company's significant impact in the justice technology sector has garnered multiple industry awards.

Henry Sal, President and CEO of CSI, highlighted the increasing demand in the public sector, particularly courts, for AI-powered document automation to alleviate manual document review and data entry. Sal expressed excitement about combining CSI's expertise with Tyler's extensive product suites to offer AI-enabled document automation solutions.

CSI, headquartered in Orlando, Florida, was established in 1987 by Henry Sal and Glen Johnson. As part of the acquisition, management and staff will become integral to Tyler's Courts & Justice Division, with ongoing employees retaining their current office locations.
