Foodmate acquires Barth Industrial Automation

Foodmate BV a leading global developer and manufacturer of poultry processing equipment and part of the Duravant family of companies, has acquired Barth Industrial Automation (“BIA”) to to expand its technology offering and expand its services for integrated production line solutions. Through the acquisition, Foodmate strengthens its comprehensive design and development capabilities for its core product portfolio, which consists of weighing, sorting, slicing and deboning technologies.

BIA's headquarters are located in 's-Gravendeel, Netherlands, and the company has established itself as a leading provider of engineering, vision, robotics and automation solutions for OEM partners in the food industry. The company's focus is on hardware and software engineering services and the ability to implement control solutions for complete production lines.
