11 September 2023

Xplor International has selected Quantre Solutions, a renowned consulting and solutions design company specializing in customer communications management (CCM), to play a prominent role at the Xplor 2023 CCM Summit, scheduled to take place in Orlando, Florida, from November 14-16, 2023. During this event, Scott Mulkey, the COO & Partner at Quantre Solutions, has been designated to present two engaging topics and lead a round table discussion. Additionally, Gene Rauch, a Senior Solutions Consultant, will join Scott in co-presenting one of these topics, titled "Directions in Green Automation."

"Directions in Green Automation" is set to be an enlightening session on Wednesday, November 15th. During this session, Gene Rauch and Scott Mulkey will delve into the practical applications of green automation within the realm of Customer Communication Management (CCM). Quantre will explore the transformative potential of the following key elements:

1. Digital Adoption Strategies: These strategies are designed to minimize paper waste and expedite customer engagement, aligning with environmentally friendly practices.

2. White Paper Factory Operating Model: This innovative model is revolutionizing print and mail operations, resulting in reduced costs and a smaller environmental footprint.

3. Energy-Conserving Omni-channel Solutions: Quantre will shed light on the concept of "Create Once, Distribute Everywhere" solutions, which not only enhance efficiency but also conserve energy across various communication channels.

In addition to their participation in the Xplor 2023 CCM Summit, Quantre Solutions continues to provide insights and expertise in the realm of green automation, contributing to advancements in Customer Communication Management.

In a separate context, FANUC America, a global leader in CNCs, robotics, and ROBOMACHINEs, is set to showcase the latest automation technologies for welding and coating at FABTECH 2023, scheduled from September 11-14 in Chicago. Their offerings include a range of collaborative robots (cobots) designed for welding, all of which are known for their ease of use, flexibility, and reliability. These cobots are tailored to enhance productivity and address labor-related challenges. Notably, they boast an impressive eight-year maintenance-free design, coupled with intuitive programming capabilities, making them user-friendly and efficient.

The demonstrations at FABTECH will encompass various aspects of welding, such as:

  • Welding joints on a mower deck using the CRX-25iA welding cobot with a 30kg payload and 1,889mm reach.
  • Live aluminum arc welding performed by the CRX-10iA/L welding cobot with a long 1418mm reach, showcasing the FANUC Servo Torch and advanced aluminum MIG weld process control.
  • Programming experience with the Cooper™ mobile welding cart, featuring FANUC’s CRX-10iA/L, and powered by Lincoln Electric’s Power Wave R450 robotic welding platform.
  • APT ModWeld Cobot MAC Cart, featuring FANUC’s CRX-10iA and Miller Auto-Continuum 350, offering a modular and expandable solution with hands-on programming using the APT Clever Torch teach buttons.
  • Simulation of brake rotor assembly with the CRX-10iA and the Power Motion i-Model A (PMi-A), highlighting the versatility of the CRX cobot combined with PMi-A's motion control capabilities.

Additionally, FANUC will present intelligent software and factory automation solutions, high-speed spot welding, flexible multi-arm welding, the high-accuracy M-800iA/60 Robot with LS2Di-A Laser Scanner, and the FANUC ROBODRILL Plus Vertical Machining Center.

Furthermore, FANUC's paint-specific robot lineup, which has been designed and built in the U.S. since 1982, will be showcased. Several robotic coating applications will be demonstrated using vision guidance and coordinated motion, including the utilization of iRVision 3DV and Visual Tracking for PaintTool software. These demonstrations include processes like painting wooden guitar bodies and measuring and collecting color data on painted test panels using a collaborative robot.

FANUC's presence at FABTECH 2023 underscores their commitment to showcasing cutting-edge automation technologies and solutions across various industries.
