Cohu Acquires Equiptest Engineering

Cohu, Inc., a global leader in equipment and services that optimize semiconductor manufacturing yield and productivity, has announced its acquisition of Equiptest Engineering Pte. Ltd. (“EQT”), a provider of semiconductor test contactors and related consumables, boasting a trailing twelve-month revenue of approximately $20 million.

Under this acquisition, EQT becomes an integral part of Cohu’s Interface Solutions Group, uniting their products and technologies to accelerate market penetration. This strategic move also bolsters Cohu's capabilities in complex machining and manufacturing while expanding their engineering capacity and customer outreach. Anticipated to enhance Cohu's fiscal performance in 2024, this acquisition represents a significant step forward.
