RE 250-series float-type flow meters

Applications:

The RE 250-series float-type flow meters with a standard length of 250 mm (9.84 inch) is suitable for measuring a range of liquids, gases and vapours in closed pipelines thanks to its full-metal design. The robust construction permits use under tough conditions (aggressive media, pressure up to 400 bar, temp. -40 °C to +350 °C). Various types of flanges, claddings and floats fulfil the conditions of the pharmaceutical and chemical industry.

• Robust full-metal fitting with impact-resistant housing cap

• Can also be used for aggressive and combustible measured media

• Float cushioning, for pulsing flows or low operating pressures (recommended esp. for gas measurements)

How the RE 250 flow meter works:

The position of the float is transferred contactlessly to the display unit via a magnet system and shown there directly on the scale. No external auxiliary energy is required for this.
