Rain Cements Plans 7 MW waste heat recovery-based power plant in dist. Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India.
The project will come up in the existing cement plant premises. The project will generate up to 7 MW of gross electrical energy from the waste heat and the flue gases evolved during the cement manufacturing process. The project that will be financed by a combination of internal accruals and bank loans is expected to be completed in about 14 months.
The estimated cost of the project is Rs. 700 million.
