Combined process
Carbide tools, especially indexable inserts with super hard material tips (PCD, pCBN, etc.) are lasered close to the final dimension and then finally processed on the grinding machine. Compared to grinding, the Neo-Laser has an approximately 100 times higher removal rate when machining super hard materials.
