BAYONET

Bayonet connections offer a quick installation as well as a reliable, leak-resistant, thermally efficient connection. Bayonet connections offer a slip together joint used for easy field assembly of vacuum jacketed pipe sections. The male and female design provides a long heat path from the outer jacket to the inner pipe. The seal at the end of the male bayonet, and the o-ring seal at the flange make this a pressure-tight connection.
