Metso has won a contract for the supply of SAG and ball mill linings for the upcoming facilities of Russian Copper Company’s (RCC) Tominsky Processing Plant. ABB and Metsä Fibre, part of Metsä Group, have signed a preliminary, binding agreement according to which ABB Finland will deliver electrification and drive technology solutions for Metsä Fibre’s planned bioproduct mill in Kemi, northern Finland. The new ANDRITZ 20-high cold-rolling mill in four-column design delivered to Harada Metal Industry Co., Ltd. in Japan successfully rolled its first strip on schedule on March 16, 2020. The first strip with a thickness of 0.027 mm was then rolled on March 25, 2020.
