Valmet will supply an automation system for INOVYN's chlorine plant in Stenungsund, Sweden, which plans to convert its chlorine plant from mercury to membrane technology. Being equipped with Valmet's automation technology will ensure that the plant has high process availability and operational efficiency.

The order was included in Valmet's fourth quarter 2016 orders received. The value of the order will not be disclosed. Delivery is scheduled for July 2017.

"Our choice was Valmet again, as we have had good experience with the company's reliable and user-friendly automation system since 1981 and our operators are familiar with it," says Kenneth Bengtsson, Automation Engineer, INOVYN Sverige AB.

"We have been cooperating with INOVYN regularly for decades and carried out many projects together. Additionally, Valmet has a 24/7 service agreement with the plant," says Roger Holmedahl, Service Manager, Automation, Valmet.
