US Chiller Services wins Adnoc plants maintenance contract

US Chiller Services (USCS) said it has secured a major contract from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) to provide comprehensive operation and maintenance services to three of the company's district cooling plants located at Ruwais City in the UAE emirate.

As per the deal, USCS will be responsible for complete operation, maintenance, services and energy optimisation of the three chilled water plants for five years starting from this month.

The three plants have a total installed capacity of 26,000 tonnes of electricity-driven centrifugal chillers.

The US-based company said its re-commissioning/retro-commissioning services began immediately upon awarding of the plants to ensure chiller and ancillary equipment reliability and optimum efficiency as well as set benchmarks for future ECMs (energy conserving measures).
