Rotary oil free screw air compressor

The Sierra compressors are ISO8573-1:2010 Class 0 certified, efficient, robust and reliable by design. Sierra compressors are the “reliable workhorse” that ensures the productivity of your business.

Scope of supply:

  • Intensive use of stainless steel for critical components. Stainless steel dual vented seals ensure 100% oil-free air, rotors in high pressure stage and cold side of the air path.
  • Continuous monitoring and on-board diagnosis, easily accessible on our Xe-145 microprocessor controller.
  • Ultracoolant – long life lubricant with 8.000 hours change interval.
  • Air and water cooled versions.
  • 46ºC maximum ambient temperature by design for a longer life component.

Air Compressor Skid Package

Ingersoll Rand has the capability to supply standard and slightly engineered rotary, oil-flooded and oil-free, as well as standard reciprocating compressors mounted on skid (or inside a container), offering a “plug and play” solution.

These skids can be completed with air dryers, external after coolers and air receivers according to customers’ needs. Skids do also feature interconnecting piping, instruments, valves, fittings, cabling, as well as a power distribution board.

Depending on the project requirements, a master control panel can be included and mounted on the skid itself.

Once ready, skid packages will be easily handled, thanks to their common skid, and placed at customer’s site in order to start producing compressed air.

All the accessories mounted on the common skid can be designed according to project specifications and supplied by Ingersoll Rand.

Oil Free Rotary Units

Over the last 4 years, and driven by an increasing market demand for oil-free units, Ingersoll Rand has gained experience in manufacturing API619 units.

API619 design features a higher level of technology since, most of the time, these kind of units have to be placed at very critical sites, in extreme ambient conditions, as well as in dangerous areas of the plant.

Main motors, coolers, pump, coupling, safety and relief valves, oil circuit system, instrument, controls, interconnecting piping, as well as tubing have to comply with very high standards of design and construction.

Finally, key aspects in the development of an engineered package (material, technical choice, tests, and inspections) are customized according to the API guidelines.
