For more than 30 years, FlexLink has provided production logistics solutions to worldwide manufacturing industries. Based on deep knowledge of material and information flows in production processes, and the specific processes involved, FlexLink knows how to leverage efficiency in today's industrial production.
FlexLink offers a wide range of conveyor systems to meet needs in different industries, from tissue converting lines, food packaging lines to machining lines for gear wheels. A broad standard range and well developed components and functions serve for a long and trouble free service life.
FlexLink offers pallet systems for machining and assembly lines, when single piece flow is required. With proven handling functions, sophisticated production lines are easy to build with a minimum of construction and ramp-up time. FlexLink has a network of sales and engineering units in 25 countries and partners in 60 countries.
With the distributed line control, conveyors and functions are controlled for perfect line balancing, dynamic accumulation and gentle product handling. It is based on standardized modules allowing easy line modifications and extensions over time.
FlexLink partners with specialized machine suppliers for the integration of equipment o the line.
In today's production environment, increasing production volumes, a multitude of variants and increasing quality requirements must be paired with a constant pressure on cost.
Common effects of FlexLink's production logistics solutions are reduced throughput time, a reduction of non value adding operations and stocks of finished goods. In the same way, the solutions increase the delivery service, quality assurance and the factory profitability.
The standard conveyors from FlexLink are based on an aluminum conveyor beam with low friction slide rails guiding a plastic multi-flexing chain. Together, the conveyor platforms cover a wide range of applications. These multiflexing conveyor systems use plastic chains in many configurations. The chain design permits horizontal as well as vertical change of direction. Chain widths range from 43 mm up to 295 mm, for product widths up to 400 mm. Each system consists of a wide range of modular components which can be fitted using simple hand tools.
FlexLink stainless steel conveyor systems are clean, robust and modular, and include a complete range of guide rails and supports.
The modularity of the X85X–X300X range simplifies assembly and installation, cutting start-up time and allowing quick and easy line modifications. FlexLink stainless steel conveyors can be run completely without lubrication systems even at high speeds or with low fat products.
Modular - The modular design permits easy engineering and line configurations. Trouble free installation and maintenance.
Clean - Good drainage, elimination of pockets and open design ensure a more hygienic conveyor. Return chain cover available.
FlexLink offers a wide range of solution for carrier based transportation suitable for machining and assembly processes.
FlexLink offers a wide assortment of aluminum profiles and accessories such as connectors, fasteners, feet, etc to build machine supports and safety enclosures.
Flexible building blocks
Structural systems XC, XD and XF are well balanced ranges of standard components which can be combined to form almost any structure.
Alpine accumulating conveyors
An alpine accumulation conveyor is built in a compact spiral configuration.
The common use of the alpine conveyor is as an accumulation/buffer zone between machines. It can also be used as an in-process step, e.g. for cooling or drying, or simply to elevate and lower.
Inline or bypass
If the alpine conveyor is used as an accumulator there are two ways of using the conveyor, inline or as a bypass:
