MACH 12™ band saw blades have a 10% cobalt M51 tool steel cutting edge with a (69-70 RC) hardness that provides excellent heat and abrasion resistance with a high chrome tempered steel backing for maximum tool life. The aggressive 12 degree positive rake varied pitch tooth design penetrates hard materials providing faster cutting rates. MACH 12™ is an excellent choice for cost effective production cutting of solid or heavy walled exotic materials that have work hardening or abrasive characteristics such as; Inconel, hasteloy, titanium, nickel alloys, chrome-moly, stainless steels and tool & die steels.
