In addition to standard technologies like FDT, CODESYS Fieldbus supports all standard fieldbus systems, such as Profibus, CAN or realtime Ethernet (e.g. EtherCAT, Profinet, EtherNET-IP or Sercos) with integrated connections. Protocol stacks for the most important fieldbus systems are available as portable CODEYSYS libraries. Due to the integration of these fieldbus configurators and protocols automation projects can be carried out much more efficiently.
